So, it looks as though I am getting my radial head replaced tomorrow. Anyone out there had this done? Whats the recovery looking like?

Thanks!

I broke my elbow very badly almost 10 years ago. It took me several months to get back to normal activities but it still hurts daily and climbing might not be helping it. I had lots of other related trauma: broken ulna, torn ligaments, dislocated humerus, broken wrist, etc so you might be better off than I am. I still ride motorcycles, dh mountain bikes, boulder, etc. There were a few things that I had to get used to doing left handed (I broke my right elbow), things like shaving and brushing my teeth were kind of scary the first time.

Good luck, heal fast, do lots of physio.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
