Description Suggest change

Fantastic beginner route. Great for kids. Climb up the obvious, shallow chute in the west face of Teaching Rock.

Location Suggest change

Teaching rock is the "hump" of The Camel, just off the Rim trail. Easy walk on/walk off. Follow trail down west side to reach the start.

Protection Suggest change

Walk to the top of Teaching Rock. There are three TR routes on the west face and three sets of anchor bolts. Use the closest 2-bolt anchor (in a dip to the left) to set up top rope. Route is directly below on west face. Bring lots of webbing to extend anchor.
