It looked like the canyons saw some intermittent shower activity early in the day(we were rained out of Ice Box 11am) but some friends that climbed in Calico said it stayed dry for them other than few light sprinkles.
Not sure if it turned into a soaker anywhere later in the day.
Pine Creek was pretty well saturated from 11am-1230pm today. On and off throughout the remainder of the day it looked like a good rain. I'd say at least a day to dry out is good.
Second Pullout had no more than "wet air" from 9-4pm. Felt lucky to be able to climb all day - even in the sun for a few hours in the middle of the day while watching the canyons get soaked.
So sounds like anything big and multi pitch will have to wait till sunday. So where to climb while the big stuff is drying out becomes the new question? who has ideas. I wonder is ying yang and atman got wet.
Limestone sport routes like up at Mt. Charleston, but it'll be cold up there. Probably got hit hard with snow too. Lone mountain in Vegas would be better. You can ask the nice folks at Desert Rock Sports for beta on the limestone sport crags in southern Nevada that'll be worthwhile to visit.
