Constriction jamming wrist/thumb injury?

MP-
Last week I went climbing after work and ended up with a good fist jam behind a constriction. Moving past it there was a large bush in my face pushing my body out as I climbed past it, and I was forced to torque on my jam far harder than I expected. Since then I've felt along my thumb- a tight, tingling sensation, numbness, and phantom drops of cold water. My range of motion is not affected and it doesn't hurt.

Does anyone have experience with anything like this?

Thanks

Wow, I have the exact same feeling when I do certain thumbs down jams with my right hand.

I had an awkward hand jam that I hung out on for too long. It went numb and tingling and I figured it'd return to normal when circulation returned, but it didn't. Dr. said it was compression neuropathy, and told me no handjams until it healed. It was back to normal in a few weeks.

were you able to keep climbing, just not cracks, or did you take a complete break?

Sorry, didn't see this reply until now. I was able to climb just had to be careful to completely avoid jams until it healed up. Took a few weeks, then was 100%.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
