Sarcasm isn't neccessarily being a jerk. Just because some of us choose to volunteer our time to keep our local areas well represented on this site doesn't mean that we aren't free to voice our own oppinions and crack a joke now and then. If you'll notice, I go over board pretty often. But then someone will call me out, usually in a more mature manner than calling me a "condesending prick," and I usually end up apologizing. Maybe try to hold back a little next time you choose to comment on the behavior of an Admin, or anyone else for that matter.
So if you're an admin you can get away with pissing on threads because you think it's funny but if not you'll get censored, deleted or banned. Thanks for clearing that up.

That's not quite what I said.

PS, my posts are able to be deleted as well.

Ok, I'll admit it, I'm a jerk. Ask anyone that knows me, my wife will back it up too. Sarcasm is a way of life in CT, its a "regional ethics" kind of thing.

and I'll even add my fave crack shoe- one that fits my foot right

I see. Thanks for clearing that up as well. I'm assuming then, that if I claim sarcasm, ignorance or being just plain rude as a "regional ethic" that I too can get away with pissing on any thread I feel like?

That's effin' sweet.

When did the Proj. change it's rules?

Gotta love the selective enforcement of guideline #1 around here!

I seriously hope you aren't implying I have any sort of cred from that. Nope, just a dumbass. And how could I forget the guy who goes from 0 to earnestly getting tooled by M_S in 4.5 seconds ;).

from your second post ever on Mtn Project just a few weeks ago-

Leeroy Jenkins wrote:I have an opinion on this very important issue but it's obvious that the moderators of this site would not agree with it so maybe I'll just keep that to myself... ...along with any beta regarding gear, routes, techniques, etc. that I might have also considered sharing. The Oregon section of MP is a train wreck but I have no interest in actively contributing to a database for a website that feels the need to moderate any dissenting opinions as heavily as this one. Thankfully, there's lots of other places on the internet for me to discuss pretty much anything I want without being concerned about stepping on an over zealous moderators toes or having to worry about offending some ignorant noober because they're too stupid and lazy to use the search function on any one of dozens of places that this info is available. coldfinger, what's with the whinny little bitch voice you keep squeaking in? You never seem to post shit like this over at CC and it's twice the shit show this place could ever hope to be. Sack up and stop worrying so much about what other people say, do and think. If you don't like it, don't read it. Period.
so what was your last handle anyways "Leroy"? I was honest, now its your turn.

I looked you up. Every post of yours that I could find was either an insult, or it had already been deleted. Other than that, you haven't contributed a single thing to this site. In your second post ever you even stated that you "have no interest in actively contributing" to a site with "over zealous moderators" and "stupid, lazy, ignorant noobers."

So what are you still doing here?

Pretty ironic that Leroy was giving other people shit for not using the search function! Also hilarious that it came up on a thread that wouldn't even exist if the OP had done the simplest search.

A few of you have reading comprehension issues eh?

I guess every shoe on the market last year is exactly the same as everything available now? Considering customer service is a thing of the past and finding info in a store is pretty much not gonna happen these days where would you suggest one get info on the latest opinions in shoes other than starting a NEW thread? This was NOT another idiot critique my anchor thread and it was cruising along just fine until an ADMIN had to derail it with his smart ass comments which have not yet been deleted.

I can't believe how many admins on this site post to be nothing but spiteful, elitest, know-it-all pricks. Glad you guys enjoyed creeping through what's left of my posts. I've deleted anything of real value myself just because I'm such a huge prick myself. I have no urge to help this cess pool of a site in any way.

Carry on.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
