they may be limited by the mfg process. Most likely this is the case. Mine is pretty drastic though. I have a yellow bi-color. I'll post a pic of the two different sides later on. Im not sure if your talking about the same color, because the evolution bi colors are only available in silver or yellow (which kinda looks like neon green)...unless you were using another model.

Yea, same one I have sitting in my car right now. I dunno, maybe I just have good vision (I have had lasik!) but I think its a pretty huge difference. The one side of the rope only has tiny dash marks and the other is the typical snake-ish pattern. lol
