I only got to meet Harvey a couple times but I enjoyed his company as much as we all enjoy his legacy.

Those are some excellent stories in the article! The one about the road rage guy throwing punches while Harvey is trying punch in at the time clock is hilarious.

HOLY CRAP!!! I met him after rapping down from one of his climbs (Twin Cracks) up Independence Pass a few years back. Think I spoke (or listened) to his stories for about 2 hours! He told me about his FA of Twin Crack and how he led the first pitch hammering in only one piton. Guy had sausage sized fingers. Supposedly he has a book of all of his FA's at his home. Claims there are about 5,000 or so. Wow. Hardcore legend.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
