DrApnea wrote:Im sure this will get derailed into a thread about how color coding gear is not necessary, but since I'm bored with winter I'll ask anyway, and I did try searching first. So i was playing with some gear and now considering what options are out there for racking some of my BD cams.Your cams are already color coated. I think you should really be searching for color coated carabiners for your Pitons! Your aid rack is what really needs coordination |

If that is already coming down the pipe then DMM is about to get ssssoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo very much of my money!!!It's on DMMs Alpha Trad Page along with a product number: Alpha Trad Colour Pack - - - - 170g A508-P5COL Just recently added I think. Yep, got some old gear sold to fund some if those! |
And the DMM Alpha Lights are also in colors! |
Release date for the new Oz's will be May :D |
Where did you find the Hooded OZ picture? |
It's their new alpinism electronic Catalog . If you scroll through pages eventually you get to carabiner page that shows the hooded oz. |
I was getting tired of waiting for the Alpha Lights to come out, so I just bought the Wild Country Helium Rack Pack (comes with grey, red, yellow, blue, and purple Heliums) Absolutely the best racking biner on the market as far as I am concerned. |

New Oz's out May :D Update as of May 20. Emailed BD and they said these are going to be released in the fall
NorCalNomad wrote:Release date for the new Oz's will be May :DShameless bump to this thread as my OZ rackpacks aren't getting much love in the F/S forum - I think they're pretty sweet and will be replacing my neutrinos (not as strong as a DMM racking notchless biner, but a good bit more affordable) available: ?? |
