climbing in north wash area utah

climbing trip to North Wash (near were aaron ralston cut off his arm) are there any good routes that i should try?

The climbing down there is generally pretty adventurous stuff on towers with questionable rock. If there is any established cragging, I haven't heard about it - though that certainly doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Most folks in those parts head up to the San Rafael Swell to climb.

There's definitely some cragging in North Wash, on the obvious Wingate walls lining the Highway 95 west of the Colorado River. I don't know where it is exactly... I have a vague memory of hearing that you should park at mile marker 34? But it's going to be adventurous and exploratory no matter what. Supposedly there are areas of Indian Creek quality rock and climbing there. Post a TR or some pics (with suitably vague descriptions) if you go!

I also posted this request on another thread about Jacob's Chair. A buddy and I will be in this area Mar. 19-23 and would like to check out this stuff. Even though I live in Durango, CO with tons of Creek junkies, no one seems to know much about North Wash. If there's anyone who knows this place and would be willing to show us around, we'd really appreciate it.
