Description Suggest change

From the Goose Creek trailhead, the happy climber may opt to leave behind the rope and tackle and head into this vast wilderness of pine and spruce forest and granite domes and overhangs for its limitless bouldering potential. This area will comprise a wide and diverse zone of hillsides and creekcut valleys. I will, and I will encourage subsequent contributors to create sub-areas to help categorize our very worthy findings. Please bring an adventurous and self-sustaining spirit to this area. There is good camping and swimming down by the creek. From a base camp enjoy the exploring and enjoy what you find.

Getting There Suggest change

From CR 126, driving toward Deckers, take FR 211 toward Wellington Lake. Before the road commits you to the lake, take a R and follow the Matukat Trail (still 211) to the Goose Creek trailhead. Park here and walk in with whatever it is you need.
