The perennial water pool at the summit of Reese. These pools with water lasting throughout summer make cooler Reese Mtn summit areas an ideal place where bighhorn sheep can hangout without having to descend to creek bottoms for water. There are Mt lions roaming the canyon bottoms of this region. When vultures flee from these steep walled canyons as you approach you can often find the kill site. Usually it is white tailed deer. A long time resident doe lasted about 7 yrs. She was yet unconsumed with a torn out windpipe and all that remained of her fawn was its lower leg bones and feet.
