Conservation of angular momentum: at first the sled has some clockwise angular momentum of the tread (maybe weighted specially?), in mid-air you slam on the brakes and that momentum wants to keep going so it's transferred to the sled which starts to turn clockwise. |

theres a bump at the lip that only the track hits, kicking him forward. still that take some massive balls. you're not going to be walking away from a 500 pound sled landing on your head. |
