looking to make a list of all the best slab problems in the frontrange. any help would be appreciated. High ball slabs are even better. thanks in advance. |

The Nipple Wall and Cat's Eye Face at Rotary Park (Horsetooth Resovoir) near Ft. Collins are both pretty classy. Nipple Wall is like V3 and tall, and the Cat's Eye feels like 5.11 and is really tall (if you top it out). |

Tooth boulder below Little Twin Owls on Lumpy Ridge is a classic--ascending levels of difficulty depending on whether you gravitate to the arete, climb up the center, or go no hands. High enough for a little pucker factor too. |

The South Face of the Pebble Wall on Flagstaff has some good slab problems. |

Can't say It's ever seen a repeat, but I thought this slabby highball was worthy: |

Tree Slab at Morrison has some fun problems. I was just looking at its page and noticed my favorite problem there is listed as a dyno, which imo just bastardized it. The problem is both hands on the crimpers on the higher rail, stack up the feet, and reach STATICALLY to the top (the face crimp on the right is off). That was the old historical way of doing it, damn gym punks...... |

I dont find it as much fun as the static variation. |

The rock is better (less greasy) and there are a ton of different boulders to explore - among which there are several excellent slab variations. |
