Description
The Hueco Wall is the ideal summer destination as the wall is in the shade most of the day.
Getting There
Park at the Sandstone Peak Trailhead. Take the Sandstone Peak trail until you hit the Backbone Trail. Take a left on the Backbone Trail and continue past Sandstone Peak (~1.5mi). Proceed towards the Water Tanks (~1mi), then head down the Mishe Mokwa trail for about a hundred yards (wall will be on your right), turn onto the dry creek bed. In the creekbed, just before two large boulders, follow a faint climbers trail that leads up to the wall. Hike is 2.7mi from Sandstone Peak Trailhead.
