Hey guys, live in St. Louis right now but the plan is to move out to Ft. Collins the beginning of June. This past May I went out and did a week long mountaineering seminar in RMNP through Colorado Mountain School. Learned a lot but obviously it's been a long time and I'm still a beginner. I really love Alpine Mountaineering, going high and climbing on mostly snow/ice/rock. Not into just bouldering/rock climbing really but I know it's essential to know and have good experience. I should have the basic equipment like crampons, ice axe, pack, harness, boots and one rope by then. So now that you know what I want to do and my experience or lack there of, who would like to go out with me on some beginner routes in RMNP? If you don't know much either thats ok, we'll start slow maybe take a guide out once or twice (don't have a lot of money) and be safe, learn together. If you are intermediate and are willing to work with a novice/beginner please join me! I'm in great shape, don't complain, pull my own weight, easy to get along with, positive and just love to be outdoors and really love to climb which is why I'm moving out to Colorado. I went to school to be a teacher so it might take time to find a job but once I get established I should have every weekend off and summers off to do a lot of climbing, I want to be very committed. Sorry for long post, thanks guys!
You can e-mail me as well if you just want to get to know each other's skill levels, set goals or whatever, ahulett88@hotmail.com
Do you already have a teaching certificate for Colorado? Applied yet? If not it takes close to a year to certified, the CDE is really slow. Also market for teaching jobs is pretty bad, unless your certfied in Math or Special ed.

Yeah I heard from a friend it takes over a year, and no I'm certified in P.E., Health, & Social Studies....all are very hard to get a job so it could take me a few years to find a job.
