lost... {[basically stolen]} gear!

That's how I build my rack, plucking the plumes during late-night solo trips. I hit the easy climbs and clean up!
But seriously, JT is packed with climbers all day and night, it does not surprise me that they are gone. Just move on and forget the loss, it won't be the first or last time.

I guess someone else didn't mind the scramble in the dark.

Sucks about your gear but that's the way it goes. Leaving gear on an easy and often traveled route and then getting indignant when someone cleans up your mess for you seems to be a bit childish to me.

Good luck with getting your gear back with that attitude!

Why would you leave two pieces? Do you mean you bailed on them? Isn't that the definition of booty? Not saying I wouldn't give gear back, but asking nicely for booty to be returned would go a long way. Beer would go further.

Is this a troll thread? Or are you actually being serious?

You left bail gear on an easy climb in a campground which is almost exclusively filled with climbers, and then when someone cleans up what you left, you post on MP insulting them, saying you won't even show the basic decency of offering them a beer for cleaning up for you, and you expect your gear back?

I wasn't in JTree, but if I had taken your gear, I cannot imagine even considering giving it back after that post.

I do some of my best drunk scrambling at josh in the dark. Love to watch the canine creatures circle the campground looking for weinerdogs. Stars are spectacular out there too... oh and whats this? a point seven five and thirteen stopper. Cool, what luck I am having tonight.

I haven't been there lately so I have an alibi, hope you get it back. But If I was out there, I wouldn't have my computer on to know I wronged you.

wait, are you saying they get out of their cars?

Nope. Rangers don't have to get out of their cars in order to cite you for abandoning gear and littering the cliffs...................Do Rangers booty?
