Just downhill and across the stream from Renaissance Crag is giant cliff band that is home to the historic route "Fun in the Sun" by Forkash and Anderson. <br> <br> To get to the Fun in the Sun Wall, follow a climber's trail up the obvious gully on the left, which is reached 50 yards before the stream crossing where Renassaince Crag is located. The first three routes that are reached along the trail are Pilot's Paradise (5.9), Cupcakes & Champage (5.9+) and Labrador Cupcakes (5.6).

The Fun in the Sun wall, in Rattlesnake Canyon, gets my vote as Santa Barbara's coolest climbing outing. The wall boasts excellent moderate face climbs up to 70 meters tall (70 meters!!). And the upper headwall of Fun in the Sun is simply unforgettable--certainly the best route I've done to date in SB.<br> <br> Blue - Written Exam 5.9<br> Green - King Snake Crack (5.7)<br> Yellow - Tender Flakes of Mercy (5.8)<br> Red - Fun in the Sun (5.8)

How good is the view?!<br> <br> The summit of Fun in the Sun, in Rattlesnake Canyon, is simply stunning. The world drops away in all directions...you are 70 meters above the canyon floor and more than a 2,000 feet above the ocean...
