Hello,

Has any one had any experience with the Western Mountaineering brand? I've been looking at their stuff particularly the down pants. They have some great prices, but would like to know how the quality is before I purchase. Are they reputable?

Best quality down is always used in their stuff.
Best quality sewing and materials I have ever seen.
Made in the USA.

I used their stuff on a couple climbs in Alaska and their stuff saved my ass.

No affiliation whatsoever. I just love their gear and think it's the best.

They are a boutique crafter of some of the best down products in the world. Universally praised, etc.

Yea Western hands down makes the highest quality down products. A little expensive but the extra money is well worth it!

Western Mountaineering is a great company. They have a very functional approach to gear, simple and high quality. They don't waste their time with fancy bells and whistles that you might see on other products. End result is super light weight clothing and sleeping bags that get the job done. But ya...a bit expensive.

Thank you for the feedback.
