Issue switching from 3G to Wifi downloads once the app has been started? - Turned Wifi Off
- Started the MP app
- Attempt to download packages via 3G (3 bar connection). It never really could download and the little spinning cursor on the top of the phone would spin, pause, spin, pause.
- Canceled the download
- Turned Wifi Back On
- Went back into the MP app
- The downloads do not seem to revert to WiFi until I power off the phone and restart the MP app

I'm also still getting the "An error occurred while contacting the App Store. Please check your connectivity and try again." I have a 3s iphone, got the same error over phone and also wifi. Looking forward to subscribing, definitely worth $5! Mark

Still getting the error "can't connect to app store" when trying to subscribe on my iPhone 4s using 3G Verizon network. Finally got the app to let me login in to my account.

John Wilder wrote:Installed and subscribed fine, had it working and was psyched to use it this weekend, but when I tried to open the app it just flickered and didn't respond. I can't get it to open even after restarting the phone several times. I'll try reinstalling it when I get home, but thought you should know. Have an iphone4 with the new ios5. I'm thinking there is something bad in one of the data packs you downloaded. If nothing else works, try deleting the app and reinstalling it (sorry...). Then add data packs one by one and see if one of them crashes it. If so, tell us which one so we can fix it!

Chris treggE wrote:Working great, as far as I can tell right now. One question, you pretty much have to manually download the good versions of the photos for each area over WiFi, correct? Maybe I'm just an idiot. Or maybe they will eventually download in 3G if you pull one up at the crag? There is a download all photos option for each area.

download pausing seems to break things. I queued up a few areas (too many perhaps?), it got halfway through most of them and then paused or timed out or whatever. Today I go in and finish some of them up and I consistently get 'an import error occured. Tap to retry' after it finishes the download. tapping to retrying yields the same result. Downloaded via 3G, IPhone 4 version 4.3.5 (8L1) on AT&T. edit perhaps its because there was an update between when I started the download and when I finished (the next day)? I could see this mucking things up...

I was on wifi at the time and download froze. I had to try a few times to delete it so I could use other areas already downloaded. Finally got it deleted and haven't tried to add it since. I'll retry sometime soon.

I finally managed to subscribe and downloaded a bunch of areas after getting the "error while contacting the app store" alert. I rebooted the phone, then went to airplane mode and turned on the wifi and subscribing worked just fine. Not sure which of those actions (if any) made the difference. Just glad it worked! Mark

The "My To Do's" freaks out when you click "show more" or "show last" It whites out most of the screen. Thanks for the, otherwise, great app!
