Just took three months off after some serious hip surgery (wear your pads when biking, playing hockey, and riding dirt-bikes) and now I'm instructed to get back at it. SO STOKED!!! I don't think I've ever climbed anything easier than 5.7 (would be 5.9+ if it weren't for good old Ellie) but the therapist is suggesting I run up a bunch of sub 5.7s.
Anyway, looking for easy climb suggestions. At this grade I could rope-solo lead but it would also be nice to be able to just fix a line.
Dropped a cord down the Umbrella Tree this weekend. The 5.7 was uninspiring so I found myself running laps on the 5.10. Felt great!
Any other suggestion that don't involve much of an approach (can climb but can't walk very far with gear+rope) but also don't put me right on the road?
