Hand doctor in Boulder/Louisville area?
|
I'm noticing some apparently random hand pain lately, and want to make an appointment to get it looked at. Can anyone recommend a good hand doc in the Boulder/Louisville area? |
|
I used Dr. Fry. I do not recommend him. |

Try Dr. David Conyers ( coloradohandandarm.com ). He was recommended to us by a couple of MDs after our daughter injured her thumb in a skiing accident. We were very happy with him. |

Unless your hand is actually broken in some way I'd recommend finding a good OT the specializes in hand therapy. |

I saw Dr Ken Duncan out of Loveland/Fort Collins. He is a climber and has done many FA's around the front range. Unfortunately Brent is correct, they cannot do much for you. My doc said he had tried everything short of surgery on his own fingers/hands in the past and that nothing really helped, just rest and stop doing things that cause pain was his suggestion. If you have lost mobility or movement then see a specialist if not just wait it out. |

Bump here for Ken Duncan. Badass climber and kayaker so he get it. He works at the Orthopedic Center of the Rockies in Ft. Collins. |

Thanks, Folks. I'm going to try Dr. Conyers first, in the hopes that it's an easy thing. If it gets complicated, it may justify the drive up to Dr. Duncan. |
