buying gear in or around NY
|
I always like to visit climbing shops when traveling to buy some gear from the country i am in. Since i am in the US right now i will probably go and buy black diamond or other US brands. Especially since stuff is cheaper here than it is in Europe. |

Take a trip up to New Paltz and buy some stuff from Rock and Snow. |
|
Second Rock and Snow - they match prices, so even if you find good deals online, please consider giving them your business. |

You absolutely have to make the trip to New Paltz, the Gunks, and Rock & Snow. 'Tis the season for climbing and if you're this close, it'd be a shame to miss it. |

snow? just a minor distraction for a day or so. back to climbing weather at Gunks in no time at all. That's why it's Rock and Snow, the place to shop for sure. |

Oh from what the news was saying it is the storm of the century. |
|
Thanks. I planned to go to the Gunks anyways and i will go to Rock and Snow in New Paltz. But today the wheather really does not look like it is worth even leaving the house. Hopefully the next two weekends will be better. |

+1 on the Mountaineer. Climbing gear at reasonable prices, amazing book section, lots of clothing at MSRP. |
