Oldest piece of gear you still climb with?

Set of RPs from early 1980s. I've got a full set of rigid stem friends from that time, but they only come out in Indian Creek.

I've got old 'drilled' hexnuts. But my old regular set of hex's have been re-roped or slung at least once since the late 70's.

Wild Country nut tool from '83-ish. I carry it on a Robbin's Salewa hollow biner circa '78 or so.

Have a Grivel Thor rock hammer I use...but...the tip is almost gone (well past the notch) due to wear and I'll probably retire it soon. Gotta be mid-90's or so?

Some Stoppers from ~1974, some hexes from that era, too.

I don't have anything over 10 years old or so...oldest I would say are my solid Liberty Mountain ovals.

Cosmic has some older stuff, drilled hexes and Clogg biners, that still are in great shape and work really well. I recently fixed a Clogg auto locker that a guy was using for a key biner, was all grimed up. Should told him it was junk and traded him for a new one lol - little bit of oil and it worked perfectly.

I have a .75 and .5 u-stem Camalot, one of which was slung and wired by myself with some heavier gauge wire I found in my shop. Bought them on ebay for real cheap when I was just starting to climb. I wanted gear to learn with, probably placed them 20 times on top rope. lol.
My vintage sears wool has to be the oldest piece of gear I climb with, comes with me on every climb, love that thing.

Had a couple of those hollow biners',; one plain out shattered into pieces. Other one is retired for sure.

Mine is yellow and purple. LOVE the damn thing... and it looks soooo good with my 1986 stoppers and hexes!

Chouinard brassies and hexes from the late 70s

Jrat gear sling, 80's friends, 80's Chouinard camalots and wireds(#10 is a favorite), wild country nuts...the list goes on. As long as it didn't get dropped, it's still good, right?

I still use some of my old Peck, Clog and Troll nuts that predate Chouinard's original stoppers and hexes.
I still use the very first stoppers and hexes (these were the very originals before Chouinard added the weight-saving holes to their hexes. The holes were short-lived as the next generation of hexes used thinner stock instead of the holes).
I still use my Chouinard/Frost laminated bamboo 70mm piolet, Joe Brown helmet, Forrest Titons, Clog Cogs, Eiger biners.
Less vintage, but still in use are my original full set of Tricams, circa 1982, and Cambell Saddlewedges. I've reslung these countless times

I still use a blind gate SMC 'biner that I bought in 1974, but only to clip my chalk bag to my haul loop.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
