Thanksgiving trip: Destinations?

Hey folks, I'll be back home in Boulder for the week of thanksgiving, and I was thinking about taking a trip somewhere. My first thought was Moab, but that might be a little cold that time of year? So then I thought maybe just go straight south towards Albuquerque? Any good climbing in southern CO/northern NM? Haven't been to that area much. I know there's jtree too, but that's a loooooong hike...and I don't trad lead. Looking for sport (single/multi pitch is fine), 5.9ish. If I can find a place with rock, sun, and 60 degree temps, I'll be happy.

Of course, knowing CO, it might be exactly that over thanksgiving. Or it might be hailing. You never know. :)

The Peaks in AZ, it's THE destination area of 2011

how far are you willing to drive? shelf road might suit your needs if you're wanting to stay a little bit closer.

Moab is towards the upper end of driving for me...6-7ish hours, maybe? That probable puts AZ out of the question...plus the Peaks looks like it's got a lot of access issues and other crap surrounding it at the moment...maybe fun if I had two weeks to explore the area, but it's something I just don't want to deal with on a short trip where I just want to get out and pull on rock.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
