Any takers? Weather pending, of course.
Or, PM if you're planning to head east on 70 around that time and would consider doing a drop off at the 191 junction. I will be happy to split gas costs and driving time.

Full creek rack in the finger sizes, and with a charitable loan from friends, I might have a 70% creek rack. If you're doing your own thing, but can take another passenger, let me know. Otherwise, I'd be psyched to climb with anyone mellow on whatever that doesn't have a deli line. Tower linkups are an option, too!

Contact.

Thanks!

A bunch of us went down there at that time last year and absolutely froze our asses off at night. I think it was between -5 and -10 two or three nights and about 10-15 the rest of the week. It also snowed 6 inches when we first got there. That being said climbing during the day was great except when I thought it would be a good idea to climb a nice hand crack in the shade. I got the worst screaming barfies of my life. Who knows what the weather will be but just wanted to give ya a heads up that it can get really cold. We might head there this Thanksgiving but at this point it's not looking good. I love that place it's like crack climbing candy land. Good luck with your trip.

Thanks, Andy. I was there before Turkey week and spent most of December in IC last year. With the sun out, you could climb when it was 38. In the shade and 38? Not so much. Hit or miss, which is why it's always prefaced with weather pending. ;)

Just trying to get feelers out for those that are flexible around Thanksgiving week. With three drivers each taking a 5 hour shift, the ride is pretty chill. Gobble Gobble.

I'll be there around those dates. I'm flying into SLC to visit family and then driving down, so I could meet up there. I'm trying to get a group together so we have enough gear for climbs (some friends from AZ, UT & CA). I myself can bring triples from about #1 3CU to #3 4CU, doubles from #0 3CU to #5 4CU, and singles below a #0 3CU & a #6 4CU.

I was really hoping to climb Ancient Art and/or another desert tower (free or mixed free & aid) when I am there and my partner for that has recently bowed out, so I'm looking for a partner for that as well!

Send me an e-mail if you're interested in meeting up or want to coordinate carpools with some of my CA friends that might be heading out.

Cheers,

Mark

Hey Mark,

I'm interested in hooking up with anyone for carpooling to Creek. Please keep in touch!

bump for my girl, JO-ista! If you're trapped in a car for 15 hours or crawling around in the dark with a lighter til morning, you're not gonna find a lot of people more entertaining than her.

Wish the cowboy and I could join you, but it'll have to wait until Spriing. I hope you omake it out. Let me know if you do. We've got some friends that are planning to head down!

Unless weather dictates otherwise, I'm planning to be in the Creek November 23-27. I could come a little earlier or stay a little later if I know I'm meeting someone, or if weather tempts me to adjust plans.

A friend of mine in CA is letting me borrow his rack, and I can probably borrow at least one more rack from a friend in SLC, so I can likely contribute 4 sets to 5 sets of cams in the mid-range.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
