Gear Room/ Closet Pics!
I am moving my gear from a clustf*ck in the garage to a bedroom that is about to be unused. |
Does thrown in a corner in my bedroom count as organized? |
Pegboard for ropes, pro, biners, slings, axes/tools, crampons, headlamps, packs. |
I stripped out the folding doors and the old crappy metal shelving from this closet and put in some really basic shelves and a pegboard. You can never have too much pegboard. |
Looks great!!! |

There's no way i'm getting out of the closet to take pictures of it. |
Also, Danny, have you actually used your gear before?? |

My neighbor came into my house the other day (I just moved) and noticed a climbing mag. "Oh, you're climbers; you must be cool." But with that in mind (new house): let's see some cool gear closets. Anyone have hockey gear in the mix too? Biking gear is obvious, but what other play essentials have you designed organization around? |
Is that a 40 on your shelf? haha |

Bump for more Gear Porn! |
One reason I like to keep everything visible is that before a trip I can do a visual scan of the pegbard and see if there's anything I'm forgetting. |

Long Weekend Bump |

Short month bump? |

Bins. Plastic bins loaded with stuff from sleeping bags to cams. Kept mostly under stairs and in garage as my walls are covered in climbing art and other pics. |

I prefer my gear "closet" to be a little more mobile. It doesn't do me any good hanging on a hook at home... |
