When the ridge levels off for a short while, this is the view a little to your right. Follow the trail down rightward into a kind of quasi-bowl (see arrow). Continue up following switchbacks towards the circled destination.

About mid-way between the "quasi-bowl" and the destination.
Turn right after crossing the bridge. Hike south a hundred yards or so and then head up this in-cut. Once at the sky line follow obvious trails up the ridge. If you miss this in-cut you will soon reach a second bridge near where the paved road makes a 90 degree turn.

Photo was taken at a switchback and is about as close as the trail gets to the destination. The practice area is at the base of the circled formation, out of sight around to the right.
The namesake stuck nut lifted out easily by hand in Oct 2013, 2 1/2 years after it was "irretrievably" placed. I remember using unholy means to try to get it out back then. Today, easy as pie - an undoubted testament to the freeze-thaw cycle.

From the east end of the foot bridge, Stuck Nut Crag is just beyond the ridge and so not quite visible
