Lost that "5 lbs and I will be able to send that route" Jbak, can I send now?

Sixteen days in the wilderness chasing elk at 10,000 feet with my bow and arrow have left me six pounds lighter than when I left. I was already down by 8 pounds from two years ago. So I am now lighter than I have been since I was 18 years old (1977). So will sending come easy now? I bring it up because I have said and others have said if only I could lose 5 lbs I would send. Never seem to lose it and have sent anyway. But I am interested to see if it makes a lot of difference. Of course I am starving and will have to avoid stuffing my face for the next two weeks.

No elk this year but I saved enough from last years elk that I will get through until next season.

I am also starting a weight loss spa. For $1500 you can follow/carry my stuff around for two to three weeks, eat what I feed you and you too can lose enough to start sending harder. The three weeks also allows your upper body to recover from all the gym time. It works for me every time.

Either way you spend weeks in the high country with only food water and shelter to worry about. Not getting an elk is disappointing but the time alone and in the woods rocked.

That five pounds isn't going to stay gone long if you keep ordering those Whipped Cream Caramel Mocha Frappucinos from Starbucks like you did today...

Well Jbak? Where are you? So far it hasn't helped and I am guessing it is coming back. Gotta go get some more desert.

What about 120lbs of weight loss... Can I send routes then?

Most people would be able to send but you will need a lot more help! Ha Ha.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
