I buy mine 1 full size less than my street shoe. They're a bit tight at first but stretch quickly. This allows for decent performance but enough comfort to wear all day. After a while they do get a little soft and don't edge well after they stretch a bit. But if you buy them too tight their thin crack performance is diminished. I find this to be one of their strong points. And I don't like my shoes too tight. Of course YMMV.

I also have a size 9 (42)street size. When I buy my mocs I buy them in a 7 1/2. They are snug at first but after a few times out they fit perfectly, due to the stretch.

1.5 sizes down. Soak them in hot water and let them dry on your feet as long as possible. Great shoe!

For Indian Creek I get mine at street shoe size and they are killer in the splitters, not good for much else.

I wear a 10.5 street shoe, and I bought a 10.5. Fits super good to crack climbs.

They stretch out alot if you climb alot and your feet sweat as much as mine, they'll be hush puppies in no time!
