Austin Baird wrote:"In Eldo - this would be a 5.9"Hahaha. However, despite popular perception, Eldo is NOT the most sandbagged place in boulder. That distinction belongs to CATS(the Gym). 11a there would be 13b anywhere else, Eldo included. |

In eldo I STFU. Then I greased off from sweaty ass hands and tested another old pin. Then I STFU and had an odells 90 at murphys. But my favorite is when Paul brings growlers of Bristol's IPA and we drink them right in the parking lot. Then the park ranger comes by and says that's 3-2 right? Right? As he nods. We only allow 3-2 in the park. We nod and say yep, 3-2. Then we STFU and drink some more. |

R.S. wrote:Why do people say they love Boulder for the beer? I could understand someone saying they love Ft. Collins for the beer, but Boulder? Really? The only thing worth a shit is the IPA's at Mountain Sun.What??? At Mtn. Sun alone, there is the Java Porter (i.e. nectar) and several fine stouts, in addition to several quality hoppy beers that I'll assume you are lumping into the "IPA" category. Then there is the IPA from Upslope -- just had a special IPA there this evening ("Double IPA" I think). Both are fantastic! I seem to recall enjoying a stout of theirs at one time, but haven't seen it in a can yet. Don't forget Avery -- too many good beers to list, but I'll single out the "Out of Bounds Stout" as one of the best on the Front Range. Great IPA as well. And Boulder Beer. Hazed and Infused. Enough said. I'm sure Ft. Collins has good beer too. But saying Boulder doesn't is just ignorant. |

To the self-righteous climbers from Boulder, New Jersey: GET A LIFE! |

Odell's 90 is good stuff, but it is as common as coors light on the front range. |

Nice job Mike That was good. |

Pretty silly to argue about which town has the best beer. |
