Description
The Chain Gang isn't really a route, per se -- more like a bunch of routes in a similar vein. It's jokingly given a grade IV or V rating in the new Rifle guidebook, "Western Sloper," because of the number of pitches, but the clincher is you can sit in the front seat of your car between pitches, listening to music and eating Cheez-doodles, as the Arsenal is only 15 feet off the road.
This endurance "link-up" takes in all seven routes in the Arsenal that have fixed chain draws on them, hence the name. As Dave Pegg says in his guide, if these pitches were stacked atop each other, instead of being adjacent, this would be one of the wildest sport routes around. Nevertheless...
The seven routes are: Sprayathon (13c), Rendezspew (13a/b), Pump-o-rama (12d/13a), Debaser (12d), Vitamin D (12c/d), Slaggissimo (12d), and Pretty Hate Machine (12c).
The order you climb these in is totally up to you.
