Go to Wal-mart and they have a tooth patch that will be a temp patch for a few days, worked great till I could get in. Dont chew with it but it should hold up to beer.

Dr. Mark Belford in Lafayette is a great dentist. I can't speak to the liberalness of his medication policy, but he does great work.

Dr. Richard Meyers in Boulder. Excellent care and has in-house lab to make temp crowns.

going to "boulder modern dentistry" they had an opening first thing tomorrow morning... what a shitty vacation. All I've wanted all week is a cold beer.

If anyone else is looking for a dentist Dr. Bill at Boulder Modern Dentistry (Pearl and 28th) was really good. Ended up getting a double root canal and never felt a thing. Nitrous/Novocain-a-plenty along with a vicodin script afterwards. They have the ability to make crowns in house in about 2 hours also so I didn't have to get a temporary and then worry about someone else installing a crown when I get back home.

What did it cost you (if you don't mind me asking)?

If you find that the Vicodin upset your stomach, I know a dude who could use 'em. Just PM me and I'll send you his address.

:)

I've always thought about carrying one of those Wal-Mart tooth-patch kits while backpacking, but never got around to it. Glad to hear your dental issues are (temporarily) rectified. Was it in time to get some birthday climbing (or imbibing) in?
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
