Rumney camping beta?

My friend and I are looking for a campsite for early august, about two weeks, closest spot to Rumney that doesn't cost $15 per night per person...

Peace and quiet would be nice, so would being close to Rumney...any ideas? I've turned up Baker River which seems to be expensive and Waterville, which is far away but looks nice and is much less expensive. Do I have to call and reserve my spot ahead of time around this time of year as well?

Thanks for the info.

right across the street from the parking lot is a brown house with a big barn and camping out back... Knock on the door on the left side of the house and they will get you checked in, $8 each per night...

just a place to put your tent, a table and fire ring and an outhouse but its where i stay cause you can walk to the crags... pretty quiet... oh and you can fill water jugs up at the barn...
