Looking for climbing partners

Hi everyone, I'm looking for more climbing partners to start knocking out some of my summer goals. I'm new to trad leading so most of my immediate goals include climbs in the 5.6 to 5.8- range depending on the area. I have Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays off of work. I'd love to hit up Lumpy Ridge, Boulder area, and Vedauwoo. I have a standard rack that should allow for most things I want to do to go safely (although more gear is of course always welcome). Looking for people who are mellow, fun loving but also serious about climbing and safety. Let me know if you are interested in roping up some time!

Im down! I am trying to find more trad climbers b/c I am just breaking into trad as well. I live in Longmont and can climb most days. I don't have a rack yet but will be building one as summer progresses.

You have about the same goals I do. I want to climb more but my partners schedule is not reliable. I have a rack and have been top roping for awhile now and just getting into trad. I have led a multipitch on flatiron #2 a few weeks ago and thats about all i got under my belt. Lumpy sounds like there look to be some good routes, and i'd like to check out grey rock in poudre canyon. I work mon-fri so weekends are the best but every other weekend works better since I have a 2 year old at home. I try to sneak to horsetooth after work sometimes to get some extra practice. Im not into extreme climbing or anything but just to have fun and be safe is number #1. Thanks

I'm looking for more partners that are available during the week, especially the first half of the week.

I've done most of the classic trad lines 5.8 and below at Lumpy and the Boulder area, but I would be happy to belay if someone wants to lead those in exchange for belays up several of the slightly harder moderates (5.9 to 10-) in the area.

Suppose I'd like to throw my hat in the ring too. I have been climbing for several years, have a rack, rope and am generally able to get out on Saturdays or Sundays for full days or short runs in Eldo on the weekdays.

I am looking to hit Lumpy this Sunday for something long and 7ish if anyone is up for it. I'd prefer someone who can swing leads.

If any of you are looking for partners next week, June 30 - July 3, PM me. My husband I and will be in the Boulder area and we will have rack and rope(s). Not sure how any of you would feel about a group of three, but figured I'd put it out there.

We are open to climbing almost anywhere within a reasonable drive, and more than happy to drive you around.

Sounds like we have pretty similar goals as far as fun, safety, and chillness. I have weekends off, so could climb on Sundays. I can lead up to 5.8ish. I climbed pretty much at Lumpy all last summer, but I've also been to boulder canyon and Vedauwoo a few times so I'm fairly familiar with all those areas. I'm actually looking for a partner for this Sunday if you want to hit up Boulder canyon or Lumpy. Contact me at ssimonson09@gmail.com

looking for someone who is interested in alpine climbs in rmnp, interested? currently interested in the south face of the petit grepon, condition reports say its snow free and i would love to hit it before summer crowds hit. i am also devoutly safety conscious and look for new climbing partners. i am available wknds mostly. i have all my own gear and can lead anything that doesn't exceed 5.10a for more than a few pitches. now that spring has arrived im looking forward to climbing higher and further. have fun! seems that contact info is needed, cause the message poster doesnt work: if you are interested email works best: michael.foy@colorado.edu

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
