Can anyone suggest trad and bouldering shoes for my long and exceptionally skinny feet? I wear size 42.

I have your same issue. I luv the 5-10 anasazi velcro......I hear the anasazi low volume is very narrow.
I also really like La sportiva solutions.

I have long, skinny men's feet. La Sportive fits me great. My favorites are mythos for comfy shoes and muiras for a lot more performance with just a bit more discomfort.

Incidentally, these each come in women's versions. I heard women's versioins are supposed to be lower volume, as well.

+1 on Sportiva for long, skinny feet.

La Sportiva Mythos, for the trad at least. I've used these through several resoles on a variety of sport and trad routes.

I'm looking for a more aggressive shoe that fits my narrow feet, and want to try the Miuras next time I get to a good climbing store.

All those other shoes can eat my ass as far as skinny feet go, get the katana womens, and your troubles will be over my friend. They are already narrow to begin with, and the womens are even more so, they are the best all-around high performance shoes that I know of, and I've been through a good lot of shoes.

Also check out the Scarpa Technos, or Boreal Lunas if you can find them. I wear a women's 9 narrow street shoe, and have had better luck with Boreal and Scarpa than LaSportiva, even though lots of folks tout LaSportiva for narrow feet. LS often gets the heel width ok, but tends leaves the forefoot a bit too wide for me on their women's models. Boreal created the only velcro shoe I've found that I can synch up snugly (the Sol) on my uber-skinny tootsies.

La Sportivas seem to be tailored to narrow feet. I've got narrow feet and my Miuras have fit wonderfully. Five Ten also has some newer low-volume shoes (Blackwing, Quantum), but I'm not sure that I'd use them for trad or all day climbing.

Same problem here. Try to stick with lace-ups. The velcro strap tends to hang way past the outside of the foot and gets in the way of climbing. I also love the Miuras and Mythos.

Thanks for the advice! I just ordered the La Sportiva solutions and the Scarpa technos.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
