What's the earliest this route can conceivably be done? I imagine that August is ideal, but I might be moving back east and want to get on this before I go. How much snow would there be in late June?

Well, Matt Bruton and Micah Morgan did it this last Jan. 29th, so anytime is conceiveable.

The snow can add ease the hike. Better foot & hand holds when you can kick them where you want them. I've made some assents in snow that would normally not go without technical gear.

The snow drifts on your way up would be of more concern I believe. Ridges and peaks are wind blown are and provide firm footing.

Did it July 4th weekend in 2008 and it was no problem. It's a burly 3 days if you start hiking from the lowest parking area.

Well I can see it pretty good from my driveway and it's kinda snowy. TONS of really high winds recently, 80 +

I'll get a photo up soon.

Any of you Coloradoans (Coloradoites?) seen the LB-Blanca traverse lately? Lots of snow up there?

You will be disappointed in yourself if you don't include Ellingwood Point in the traverse.
