Fixed, better.

I like the Dirtbag Deals feature; it's not intrusive, and I'm happy to help support this awesome site. I just purchased a nice backpack from your link- WOOHOO! : )

These ads are right on top of what was valuable info like "What's new in the area." They don't go away and I can no longer get to the info. Is this a bug that will be fixed?

Every link that was in that top left still exists - it just moved to the main area by the area/route information.

Wild Country Helium biners and draws listed at 28% off at REI. No such deal exists when you click thru. Bug? I was bummed as I could use a few more and those f***ers are expensive.

Same thing was true when I looked at one of the ropes listed for REI- it came up at retail price.

And remarkably, as I looked at this very page, another REI item came up, so I had a look:

Five Ten Camp Four Approach Shoes - Men's
$114.95 26% off
$84.93
at REI
more Dirtbag Deals

They are $114.95 when you go to REI.

Looks like the REI thing isn't working for MP.com.

I really like the new Dirtbag Deals section. The folks here are vocal and veracious in finding bugs as well so Avantlink must be psyched too. That type of leg work is invaluable.

REI has been pulled until they write me back and explain what happened. Thanks for the heads up.

I just tried it and the link does not exist at the main area (in this case Connecticut). See this snapshot of the page:

Am I missing something?

Brian, the links you are looking for are just above the "Printer View". CTRL-F and search for "Best Routes For You" if you're still hunting...

Alssports have been advertising 25% off camalots all week, no such offer exists when you click through.

Jane, it looks like those were good prices for a while, and they pulled the them about 8 hours ago. We store things for up to 12 hours, so they should disappear soon.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
