Description Suggest change

Santa Barbara, California, has nice weather year-round with plenty of sunshine. Range of climbing grades: 5.6 to 5.10a.
To get down from the climbs either rappel down from the fixed anchors on top or walk off.
The routes face north and get shade most the day but it is also easy to step into the sunshine if you need to warm up.
Classic Santa Barbara sandstone climbing that was discovered in 2009 after fires in the area. Area mostly developed by two PhD students from the Department of Geography at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Getting There Suggest change

From California Highway 101 North or South, exit at Mission Road and go north on Mission Road to the Santa Barbara mission. Continue north past the Mission on Los Olivos which turns into Mission Canyon Road. Make a right at Foothill Road (Highway 192) then a left at Mission Canyon Road. Continue on Mission Canyon Road until you are able to fork to the left to get on Tunnel Rd. Follow Tunnel Rd. to the end and look for parking before the water tower. Walk the paved tunnel trail for a few minutes until a paved road forks off to the right. Take this road on the right down to the end then take the trail down to the water. At the creek find the canyon with the wavy rocks and take this up until you find Yard Sale crag. See photos and Google My Maps ( maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=… ) for a more detailed description.
