Main area overview showing Dutchess County parcel boundaries. Large chunk lower right is private land, the rest is public. Appalachian Trail winds in from upper right to near the top of the most exposed rocky area, a little over a mile up from road.
This should help. Cairn and game trail to the Trapps area are MIA (1/13/19). Lots of thorny and dense underbrush off-trail.

mystical boulder, in the middle of far side creek , on of the furthest boulders in the area, also the most beautiful.
