Description

This is a lone boulder on the side of the Alameda Parkway, just half a mile shy of the exit ramp to C-470. It is considered Green Mountain Open Space. This needs some more cleaning, and a few holds do break. I recommend a pad, though the landings are quite good. There is a lot of potential for dynos, but since I had no pad, I didn't try any. I'm sure it's been climbed before, but I figured I'd add it to here.

Getting There

From Lakewood, follow the Alameda Parkway towards C-470. This is on the right side on the side of a hill. From C-470, take the exit to Alameda Parkway, and follow it towards Lakewood. The boulder is on the left side on the side of a hill. Per Lang Daly: the closest parking is the Forsberg dog park.

Wildlife

Per Locopelli: be on the watch for rattlesnakes. Also, coyotes appear in the area. Per Scooter T: there are also some nice pockets that are filled with mouse droppings.
