Looking for someone wanting to climb 5.7 and 5.8 routes along West Ridge all day Friday. It doesn't have to be all day, just wanting to get on a whole mess of routes. Gambit is cool too.

I wouldn't mind getting on some 5.8s in the Flatirons either.

Don't know if you care about this or not, but it's supposed to rain all Friday

Weatherunderground has it as partly cloudy on Friday as of this AM. I figure Ill find someone willing to climb on Friday. We can always call it if its rainy.

JayW wrote:Geez, Evan....don't spoil a man's dream! Local Denver forecast rarely matches Eldo. Also 9news.com says 72 and dry for Friday. Gosh, who to believe. Best to stay inside for you Evan as i'm sure your sources are right. Drew, I'll be looking to climb on Friday for only a few hours. If you get someone to climb morning with you, cool....i'm looking for a 1 to 4 shift and could come meet you on West Ridge or if you're hiking out with the morning partner we could do P.A's variation or the Bulge (close to car and you've done neither). Let me know what you come up with and if it works out for me to climb just a few hours with you great, if not we'll climb soon. Drop me an email. Jay
I was looking on climbingweather.com. It says 49 and rainy for friday in eldo.

Climb if its nice...wait awhile if it gets shitty, its Eldo. It was 70% chance of snow and rain today and I got in 7 pitches. I'm sure the man knows the weather Evan...

Heck a bunch of the easy routes on Wind Tower are fun even in light rain. I've done Recon, West Overhang, Tigger and a few others when it was spitting or wet. No big deal. Definitely worth a shot.

Oh and Andrew is a good guy, someone go climb with him. I would if I wasn't working, booo.

Jeez guys, I only said the weather, i didn't say he shouldn't climb if he wants to. I'll probably be out climbing if it rains on Friday. The second time I said it was in reply to someone else who deleted their post apparently

Thanks for the recommendation Chris and Rick! I wasn't expecting intense discussion about weather although it was amusing. Still looking decent. 67 degrees, partly cloudy, with a 10% chance of precipitation. Good climbing weather.

Josh, I pmd you. Let me know.

Jay, I give you a shout if i cant track down someone for the all day festivities. Ive been eyeballing The Bulge but that R is giving me the willies --> "All belays are hanging w/ double bolts. The route is extremely run out and most of the protection is fixed pins. Bring 6 quickdraws and cams up to a #1 Camalot."

Have great climbing on Friday!!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
