No love for BlackBerry? Also, make sure that all data can be cached locally. Don't know about you, but most places I climb have spotty signal, at best....

GPS Tagging are a must, and the option to take photos for beta would be great. Also, allowing people to use "my location" to find routes near them and then display pictures and such of the route and giving some beta would be nice. Showing boulders, tr or Sport as a radio button would be nice so you can choose to include or exclude different types of routes.

Nice one, Nick, if you need any help beta testing or reviewing RFPs let me know. I think I sent you something a bit ago about using a majority jscript app with local data capability to maximize number of devices this could run on with minimum effort. Not sure if that's still the thinking here, but did some research on this in the meantime.

That would be awesome! I've been waiting for this to come out for sure. Yeah, I think being able to get directions to a climb would be great. Some descriptions are hard to follow.

Please make it easy to use mid-route. Well, on routes where there's signal. Some have a signal - probably won't be too long before everywhere has full bars.

Check out the Global Climbing Guide app. It's only for the iPhone currently, but it does use GPS and allows everyone to add and tick climbs.
