Big Bro cord length?

Just bought my first ever Big Bro (blue #4). I'm interested to hear how long people like the cord on it to be. I was thinking about 10" (so the piece used to make it would be about 2.5-3 feet or so, taking account for the knot and the part going through the tube.)

what type of cord do you use?

Trango recommends 30" of 5.5mm tech cord. Triple fishermans...
