Red Rock Rendezvous 2011 - Who will be here?

March 19th-22nd. Who all is planning to show up?

I will be there on Friday at least. I'm still trying to find someone to cover my shift on Saturday, and until then I can't try to sign up for anything. Pretty normal for me.

Looking forward to it though, this is going to be a fun time this year.

I will be climbing Friday morning, and checking in after that. Signed up for multi pitch efficiency 520 on Saturday.

I had to wait until the last minute to confirm, so I wont get to do a class on Sunday morning. There are some open in the afternoon but I have to work. *sadface* Still, looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up!

Me and wifey are driving 2,500 miles from Philadelphia to make it to our 4th Rendezvous in a row. Bags are already packed. Cannot wait.

If anyone needs a partner after tne Rendezvous, hit me up. Me and wifey will be in Red Rocks for a couple weeks.

I'll be there for RRR again (6th year in a row). I plan to get there by Wednesday night so if anyone would like to partner on some multipitch on Thursday or Friday please drop me a line ASAP!

I'm in 520 as well. Be nice to meet some people. Got here on the 13th and been ticking off routes.

Don't forget guys and gals, if you get in early, on Thursday night there will be a BBQ, slideshow and raffle that is put on by Desert Rock Sports every year. Always a fun event with AMAZING raffle prizes!

The speaker this year is Kevin Jorgeson, and that kicks off at 8 with the raffle to follow. BBQ starts at 6 for a low low price for all.

Sorry I bounced from the 520 class. A very nice character in the parking lot tipped me off that there was no actual climbing in the class. I switched to Climb like a girl so I would get some time on the rock. Glad I did. We ended up doing 6 different routes.

I hope you guys had a great time. I sure did! I am coming next year no doubt.

I think I would have learned more by standing around at the festival talking to people.

Very experienced instructor, but it was very low level material for the most part. Not what I wanted from an Intermediate class. We were also super short on gear as they didn't say to bring anything.

I should have just went to another class as well, everyone else was bouncing all over the place.

If I go next year, I will see you there!

I am a climber from Portland OR and will be in town for a few days. I plan on bringing my climbing stuff (rope/draws etc. No trad gear) but need a climbing partner. I will be in Vegas from Mar 23-25.

I would be SOOOO psyched if I could meet up with someone who could show me around and climb with for a few hours one of the previously mentioned days.

Some background info: I mostly boulder but love sport climbing. I boulder v6-7 and have climbed sport up to 5.11c. I could probably TR in the 12's.
