Description Suggest change

This is a great ski-mountaineering/snow route especially when combined with Lincoln Falls. The couloir is 40-50 degrees and constricts to a ski length in some spots. Beware of rock fall on warm sunny days. This is a windy and cold place, so consider avalanche stability.

Location Suggest change

The Diamond Couloir is located in the valley directly above the Lincoln Falls ice climbing area. From the top of Lincoln Falls, gain the rock glacier on the climber's right and walk back to the big head wall and you will see the obvious weakness that is the Diamond Couloir.

Protection Suggest change

If you are not comfortable with unroped snow climbing, you could get some rock gear in the side walls. But the rock quality is not that great.
