Description Suggest change

107 boulders is a local climbing spot located near Glenville, NC, about 20 minutes from Western Carolina University. It's located on the north side of a small mountain and gets shade most of the afternoon. The drive is easy and the boulders are right next to the road. 107 is great for a quick workout.

There are usually only four or five people there at the maximum. Rock quality is among the finest granite you'll ever see. It will be rough on your fingers. Problem difficulty ranges from V0 to V10, and there are over 60.

Be respectful, pick up your trash, and leave room for other people when you park.

Getting There Suggest change

From the town of Sylva, NC drive on 107 S. You will pass WCU after about 5 minutes. Keep driving for around 20 minutes. You will eventually pass a recycling center on the right side of the road. The boulders are coming up on your right shortly after that. Keep looking and you will see them just after the road pinches back down to two lanes.
