Thanks whoever you were in Eldo today :-)

I know that this is the only likely place this will be seen by the people I want to see it so I'm putting it here.

I thank whoever was on Calypso this afternoon and attempted to talk my wife through her first climb on The Bomb after they rapped off of their climb. I guess it was too cold and she, not having any desire to continue trying to climb while freezing, ended up deciding not to climb it in the end. But your encouragement (and louder shouting voice) helped us both not to be too demoralized.

Thanks also for not pointing and laughing (out loud anyway) as she proceeded to leave the knot in her end of the rope and I felt the need to find my middle point, snagged the rope, and then got the privilege of finding my way out of an easily avoided and could have been prevented dilemma :-)

And if you don't see this...thanks anyway.

Lessons learned.

I am surprised to see this post and its contents. Never the less, you are welcome. When she began to untie, we thought that everything was then taken care of so we began packing up our gear. I am glad to hear that even despite the struggles, everything worked out in the end. I try not to ever leave when help is needed/ desired.
