I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on the ice conditions for Maple Canyon such as when stuff starts coming in, access issues/road conditions, ect.

My bet, too warm so far this season.
Some years, it barely comes in at all.
If you have to walk in due to snow depth, then, it might be ok.
Supposed to warm way up this weekend too. Be surprised if it freezes at night. Snow depth and big swings down well under freezing are what's needed. Just hasn't done that much yet.
I was there over Thanksgiving, and there was little ice. Climbed the waterfall in Box Canyon, but it didnt look like anything else had formed. Just a whole bunch of people cutting down trees in the name of christmas, fueled by ATV power, and blind to the fact that it is lame to top trees right next to the road.

Not a single route on the main road or in the Left Hand Fork has formed to a reliable thickness. Also, Salt Lake folk, how is the Great White Crowdsicle holding up? I'd like to do that at least once this season...
