Anyone got any advice for fun winter rock climbing areas around the front range?

I'd say Shelf. Generally a little warmer and gets sun.

I have done everything from Boco to Eldo in the winter. I suggest a South or east facing craig. It can be lame but, North Table mountain stays pretty nice for the most part. Eldo is COLD but, looks amazing when it is snowing.

platte... but the approach can often times require hairy roads or post holing

I'm curious about the same thing, in particular routes in Eldo that at least get a bit of sun. I'm headed down from Montana to Boulder for Thanksgiving and would really like to get some climbing in....any suggestions?

Winter is Castlewood's main season, once the snakes are down.
Edit- all the West and South facing walls (and most of the bouldering), which is about 95% of the routes there. But I'm not itemizing them now.

Maybe I should have been more specific. I am curious about more specific walls/areas. I appreciate the advice so far but I am wanting to know where specifically you can go to climb in the sun. So far I am thinking places like castle rock (BC), the Bihedrals (BC), Plotinus Wall (BC), Wall of Winter Warmth (BC), Highlander (CC). But that's about where my ideas end. Any thoughts?

those are good walls for sun. plotinus bakes, in a good way when its colder out. Lower and mid animal world can get plenty of sun as well.

So, merely mentioning Winter areas is not enough, you want to avoid a few clicks and reading and just have us spell out specifically which wall and routes too? How about best time of day, can we throw it in as well? Also looks like you want Boulder advice, not Front Range in general.

West Ridge of Eldo, particularly Rincon, is very nice in winter.

Awesome. Thanks guys. Helps to get an idea of where to go to chase sun. Seems like there are lots of options but figured getting your opinions is normally a great start.

Mike - Don't quit know why you sound so jaded. when i asked for specifics I didn't even notice your earlier post that was plenty specific. Sorry if I came off as rude before. I was trying to build the conversation. Ya know, like people do when they have discussions. Thanks for the help but no thanks for the typical Mountain Project ego puking.

Doghouse at Clear Creek along with Highwire are both ok too

No worries Mike.

Clear Creek can be really hit or miss.
-The Dog House is in the sun most of the day and low enough in the canyon the wind doesn't get too bad.
-Primo wall(and crystal tower) can have some great sending temps if your planing on working some of the slopey test peices there, but it's only in the sun from say 11-2, so It's a pretty short window.
-Highlander does get sun all day, but the wind can quickly ruin a nice day up there.
-Highwire... I don't think it gets hardly any sun in the winter months, in the morning if any.
-Sports wall is in the sun pretty much all day, but doesn't have too much to keep you busy.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
