wasangelese strikes again, sorry man, that is very unnerving and infuriating to hear, good luck |
|
That's my absolute worst nightmare... I live in CO but I'll keep an eye on craigslist and ebay. |
|
My worst nightmare as well-very unfortunate, and no way to start off in what is normally a really cool place to live. I'm sorry to hear about that for sure. Check out ksl.com in the classifieds for climbing gear and craigslist, maybe it will show up there. Also, you should talk to the guys at IME, they have a consignment section there. Other than that I can't think of anywhere else to look. Good luck-I hope something comes up. |
|
If you've got the time, go check all the Pawn shops too. When my friends' gear got stolen last year I did that. I never found my friends' gear, but I found a lot of other good stuff. |
|
Bummer...sorry to hear that. Check the pawns on state street.. |

SLC is great...but never leave shit in your car...pretty common crime around here (Sugarhouse and Avenues)Yep, I've had my car broken into twice in SLC. One of the times I even had all of my climbing gear in the car but it wasn't stolen (it was in the trunk and the thieves just took my longboard off of the back seat). As has been said, check KSL.com classifieds, ebay and craigslist. And I really hope you have homeowners or renters insurance. |

a bit off the subject, but anyone living or moving to SLC, I would recommend not placing climbing/skiing stickers on your car. Climbers tend to leave their cars parked longer than others and I think the thieves know this. There a shit tons of break ins off the cottonwoods roads. |
|
Do you really think this is from people that knew there was climbing gear in the cars, or just random break-ins? |

I know it was more than a month ago but this popped us in the ksl.com pages yesterday. |

Then his post disappeared. Then the whole thread went away, as I posted to it and it's no longer in my "posts". |

We've apparently been censored for some reason. Admins? What's the dilly? |

I requested that Andy delete the thread. No censoring by the admins. If you "need" any other info, please PM me. |
